Easter Day

What a wonderful Easter weekend with family we don't see very often. Silly Easter bunny totally forgot all the Easter goodies, including baskets! Good thing for Aunt Toni and RiteAid. The Easter bunny did manage to find us at Burns, OR, and hid those Easter baskets really well. Good thing we had some really good lookers!

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We had a great time dyeing Easter eggs. I've never really understood the tradition but I sure enjoy it.
Grandpa and Braden dyeing a blue egg! He only wanted blue and black eggs and I said no to a black egg so they only dyed blue ones.
Brent was too busy showing Austin card tricks to dye Easter eggs.

Good thing Grandpa was so willing!
Jessie, Brookie and Carli dyeing eggs.

Burns Baseball

We went to Burns, Oregon, for Easter weekend to visit Brent's Uncle Kevin and Aunt Toni Feist. It was a fun filled weekend. On Saturday we watched Brent's cousin, Caleb, play baseball. It was lots of fun and they won both games.
Caleb is an amazing baseball player. This is him and his dad in the background.
It was a cold and windy day. Kaylee Nicole snuggling with daddy and watching some baseball.
Braden climbing the fence. The same fence that a few minutes later he peed on and then let us know that he was peeing on the fence "just like daddy does". An embarrassing moment for mom and a proud one for dad!
Carli is the Burns baseball team bat girl. She and Brooke had such a fun weekend.
There was a huge hill that the kids had a blast rolling down and cartwheeling down. This is Jessie getting ready to roll.
My three wonderful kids all in blue.

Huntin' for those colored eggs

Toni and I went on a 4 mile run while Brent and Bob took the kids to the Burns Easter egg hunt. Brookie and Jessie said it was the easiest "hunt" they have ever been to. You didn't even have to hunt. You just had to run and the faster you were, the more eggs you got! And they were all filled with candy! Brent was on camera duty and did a fabulous job!
Jessie hunting for eggs.
Jessie pausing for a quick photo.
Brookie was the expert egg hunter...she was QUICK!
Carli was too old for the egg hunt but went to cheer her cousins on.
Look Daddy, a blue one! Lots of eggs!! With candy in them!!

Day at the Zoo

Brent really wanted to take the kids to a zoo over spring break. Brookie and Brent had a different spring break than Jessie and with Christine's wedding it was hard to find a few days to drive anywhere so we decided to drive up to Reno and visit the zoo there. It was a very small zoo but the kids LOVED it and the price was right!
It was a very cold and windy day but we all had a great time.Jessie is our animal lover. Her favorite was the petting area.
Kaylee Nicole wasn't too sure about the petting area.Braden's favorite was the monkey...he kept asking to pet the monkey's.
Brookie comes in a close 2nd as our animal lover...here she is trying to stay warm.

Happy Birthday to....

Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend, Melissa! Melissa is a wonderful friend and the worlds best babysitter. She watches Braden and Kaylee Nicole while I work on Mondays and has two daughters Brooke and Jessie's ages. We all love you Melissa!

Build A Bear

We had to be in Reno a few weeks ago and we went to the mall to pick something up. It was supposed to be a quick stop but Brent is a real pushover. Seventy dollars later....we left....with 3 new cute little bears decked from head to toe! It was a fun afternoon. No wonder they love thier daddy so much!

Joys of a new treadmill

What's the best part of Daddy getting a new treadmill?
Girls: Getting to play with the big box it came in!

Boy: Getting to use tools and help Daddy put it together!
