Happy Halloween 2009

We had the never ending Halloween this year! On Thursday the kids wore their costumes to school. Braden and Kaylee Nicole and I went to watch the costume parade at school and then went back to both Brookie and Jessie's class parties that afternoon. Friday there was no school for Nevada Day and we had Trunk or Treat at the church. There was soup and salad and bread and then we played Bingo and then went outside for the Trunk or Treat. Saturday was actually Halloween and we got dressed up one more time and headed to the Safe Zone at Line Drive U and did some put put golf and then we went Trick or Treating at Nana and Grandpa's neighborhood. Now that Brookie and Jessie are getting older one or two houses doesn't cut it. We trick or treated FOREVER! But it was a geourgous night with a full moon. We didn't even wear jackets. Braden stuck right with the girls until the very end. Brent did bow out early with Kaylee Nicole. (The Ducks AND the Yankees were on!)The kids at the Trunk or Treat

Braden got a Power Ranger costume to wear this year but he decided he wanted to save it for the Trunk or Treat so he wore his Spiderman costume (from the previous year) to the school parade.
Kaylee Nicole was Snow White...she was definitely the hit of the school!

Pumpkin Carving with the Woods

Uncle Jared and Auntie Bean Woods! They offered to take out three oldest for the night. They took the kids to the corn maze and then they went on the bounce houses and then to the petting zoo and then home to carve the pumpkins, eat pizza, and watch a movie. The night ended with a sleepover! It is sooo much fun to have Uncle Jared and Auntie Bean living so close! We love them!Auntie Bean and the three kidos.

Braden's first dentist visit

Dr. Todd Gray, our good friend, is our childrens dentist and he is great. Braden was sooo excited to go! He was even more excited about getting a new toothbrush and his own toothpaste and floss! His mouth looks great...no cavities!

Potato Harvest

I was determined to take my kids to the farm during harvest this year and we made it...just in time! We went in October the week before they finished. We were going to Idaho for my brother Mark and his wife, Paige's baby blessing. My newest little niece Sicily Telford. We got to my parents house on Friday night and spent the night there. The next day the kids had a fun time playing outside. My parents purchased another farm in Arco, ID and Mark is running it. We drove to Arco and got there late Saturday night. Good thing they work the longest hours of any job during harvest time so I could take my kids to the cellars and show them some of the harvest operation. Brookie was with Mijken and Kaylee Nicole was asleep but I had fun showing Jessie and Braden some of the stuff.

Jessie was just in awe about the number of potatoes. She said "Wow! That is alot of potatoes for Papa and Grandma Telford to eat!" I told her that they didn't eat them all and Jessie said. "Yeah, I guess they get to share them will all the cousins!" I had to explain how the potato seed business works!
