Brooke and Jessie had to complete 4 hours of community involvement for their Miss Nevada titles as part of the National competition. They helped our friend, Shelly, organize and set up a team to run in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure 5K. Our team had 50 members and raised $2400. Our team was the "Pink Monkey's" and our t-shirt design won first place and $453.30 additional prize money which was donated. It was a very cold day but the girls were genuinely interested and wanting to help and didn't complain. I was very proud of them!
