This year we traded our time share for a week at a resort in Palm Desert the week before Christmas. It was amazing. We left cold and snow and chaos and entered warmth and palm trees and calm. We spent most of the days swimming (and on the water slide) but also spent a lot of time at the activity center. They had lots of games and a little movie theatre. We also drove to LA and went to the American Girl Place. We drove home on Christmas Eve. It was a wonderful vacation!
